Environment Building and Composition - Avatar The Way of Water

These are images of work I did during my six years at Lightstorm Enterainment working on Avatar The Way of Water. As with all collaborative work, there are many people that contributed in some way to each scene, I tried to keep these images limited to shots where I feel I made a significant contribution to the final look. My role for each of these images was environment building, and composing the scene to camera, unless otherwise noted. While I did modeling and texturing for countless assets, I am currently limited to taking stills from the movie which makes showcasing specific model and texture work difficult.

In this image I am showcasing the roots where I was responsible for modeling, texturing, and placement for the village root system.

In this image I am showcasing a closer look at the roots model and textures along with the barnacle/algae texture system I created for the roots where they met the water.

In this image I am showcasing not only the environment, but also the model and texture work I did on the airbell and the surrounding kelp.
